I got what you are looking for its a d16y7 block. Complete from valve cover to oil pan. Just the long block. Still OBD1. If you are intrested give me your email address and we'll try to work something out. I live in MN 55987.

LoL, my bad I was thinking of my old d16y7 block that I've sold already, but I do have an extra d series block. Its a older modle civic dx. I think it should be like a D15b. It doesn't really matter what year the block is most D series blocks are interchangeable.

sorry i shoudl have made myself clearer. i have a y8 right now and i need a new bottom end. i dont want the high compression the b7 block would give me with my y8 head becaise i will be installing an IHI turbo at 8lbs very soon after.

I know what you mean I have a d16y8 head onto a d16y7 lowblock with my original d16y8 transmisison. I was running 75 shot of dry nos through the system and it held up fine. Right now I'm going to put a 14b turbo on the motor. It should hold up fine with 8lbs of boost. My compression on each cylinder is only 215psi so it aint that high. You should still be able to run 8lbs of boost with that set up. Also the higher your compression the better the boost will be, you are just going to have to watch your motor a little more carefully.

i have a d15b8 block. I also have a jdm d15b vtec head complete w/ intake manifold, it would be a good turbo combo. I also have a complete head gasket set for z6 head, still in the package.
