I want a Laptop with XP ONLY. Has to have XP. I can't work with anything else. Doesn't have to be the fastest computer in the world, but I don't want a dinosaur. I might be willing to pay a bit more for a nicer/faster/newer one. Let me know what you got.

i got a dell inspiron 1501
gotta grab the specs tomorrow but its more high end

they go with lower specs on ebay for 600 new
mine has the higher specs 2gig ram and dvd burner asking 800 shipped
the battery lasts a crazy 5+ hours

or if you want a desktop i have one with a 19" flat scereen high specs asking 600 + shipping you need a keyboard and mouse i dont have one

Ive got a fujitsu lifebook.. its not that new, but runs everything really well.. I think it needs a new HD though.. I just got it out of storage and Im messin with it.. suprising old chap if your interested let me know.

 

----, I don't really want to spend that much. I was thinking like 500 at the VERY most. I don't burn DVDs or anything like that. My ------- burner stopped working a while ago and I decided not to fix it since I hardly use it. If i'm going to buy a new computer it has to be a laptop. I need freedom from this room.

I don't have a laptop. It's a desktop. Dell 4550 or some ----. It's like 6 years old or so. The only thing I really use the computer for is internet so as long as it gets on the internet, I'm happy with it.



I have about as much knowledge of computers as I do with spaceships. If it needs work in any way, it's not for me.

I've got a laptop with XP on it, but its what you call a dinosaur :P 700 mhz, 256 megs ram, ftw

 

Is it painfully slow? How much? Anything else with it? Battery? USB ports? Wireless ----?
