I would like a d16 out of a civic/crx si but i will consider anything. i would like to get one and build it up for a ---- load of boost. I need one dirt cheap or free.

I just shipped a dead D15B7. I have a D16Z6, but I can't get rid of it for dirt cheap. :-\

Wow, I wasn't expecting both of you to bite. :o

I honestly haven't ran the motor myself, but I trust the guy I got it from and he said it ran great and it had 100,000 miles on it. He boosted it for a thousand miles, if that and swapped a B series. It comes with the timing belt cover, oil pan, crank pulley, misc. brackets that I'm not sure about, timing tensioner.....I think that's it.

i have one...its a d16a6 ...needs rebuild....3 days ago when i popped the head off ...water got on the piston and the piston ring might have rusted ....i dont really know :(..old head gasket has been shaved off...

complete seized d16a6 longblock basically
head and intake manifold included

shipping is 150 through yellow frieght...and i have tons of ppl who can vouch for me and im on the GOOD sellers list ;D....just a make a good offer and its yours..i live in vegas

the head says 90 on it ....so its from a 91...pistons still move freely up and down....except when it gets to that certain spot >:(

I have a 5sp 89 CRX SI engine for sale (my spare engine). I will not ship, but if you're in the northern part of CA. You can pick it up for $200. That includes:
D16a6 engine
SI ecu
SI engine wiring harness
HF transmission

*only thing missing is the alternator and distributor
cause I'm using it.

Thats pretty damn tempting for 200. Thats the complete long block or just short block for 200? If it wasn't for my shitty tranny and the need to buy one this weekend I'd buy that in a heartbeat!

That's just the shortblock(all internals, oil pan, timing cover...yada yada yada...). Come on, you know you want it! ;)

i have a d16y8 seized. its from a 00' civic ex. i believe it seized due to floating lifter prob. ?. anyway im asking $800 for the complete shibang. that is f-ing cheap!!! never been raced or sported out and 45k org. miles. best way to get in touch

i got a d15b2 that was taken from my 90 crx that was running, also have a sohc zc that was running and a d16a6 that was running all was blowing some smoke. ill let them go for like 75 dollars block and head on the d15b2 the a6 i believe i took it apart but you can have the head too. the zc has a ported head that im keeping. email me someone get this stuff out of my garage! im in so cal

Where are you located. I live close to Philadelphia and I have a D15B2 I just pulled out of a Civic I bought. Its dead so don't expect anything great. If you're close come by and its yours.
