well, are they d16y series pans? I have plenty of D-Series pans, just not a D16Y7 or 8 pan.

 

You do know that y7 and y8 pans bolt in different.I already tried them.Just letting you know.

 

No, they have the same bolt pattern.

Same back cover, same oil pump, same block.



Yes they are different from earlier D's. You would have to use the corresponding oil pump and back plate, but the back plate has a bolt that is different.

 

I was actually looking for your thread and couldn't find it.

Where is it tapped. It'd have to be tapped in the right place and the right size.

 

yeah check, see where its located left to right, thats what I am more concerned with. It also just needs to fit a standard dorkmode oil line.
