If you are in Canada there would not be any Taxes on anything bought from the US. Only if you buy something online and the store you are buying from is in your same state. I would shop different places bro. I am sure that will get you the best price on all of the stuff. Don't be afraid of haggling. It is a depression out there and shop owners are tired of going hungry.
