I currently have an OBD2-1 harness, and a tuning laptop. The car being worked is a 98 civic EX with a d16y8 5spd. I want to run Uberdata or Chrome on an OBD-1 ECU, N/A to begin with to get some practice using tuning software. Yes I'm a n00b to tuning so help a n00b out! I mostly need:

ECU - Preferably a p28, or any other obd-1 that can control a V-tec engine. Not sure on what other options there are (adding V-tec to non-v-tec ecus?, P72?) Chipped or not doesn't matter.

other stuff I will need:

Chip burner
Chipping kit ?
datalogging cables and USB interface


I have experience with soldering, so chipping an ECU or soldering a chip burner up, shouldn't be too much trouble for me.
I have paypal ready too. I'm located in Bennington VT
