most air tools wont have a chance with a crank pulley bolt lock the flywheel 5 foot bar good breaker bar deep impact soak with lube = success |

yea just find the longest cheater pipe possible, I once had to use a 8ft+ metal hose LOL

i rented an "engine chain" from a local tool rental place. basically it's like a bike chain + a giant metal hook. wraps around you're crank and tightens like an oil filter wrench does, let the bar rest against something (frame/enginemount) and get a nice breaker bar on the bolt. i just used a 2' cheater bar on my plain 3/8" socket wrench. took mine off without much hassle and im sure it hasn't been off since the motor was first made in 199x
