I need some cut springs that will slam my ride 3-1/2" - 4" inches. Let me know what you have.

1st off, u cant drop it 4 inches. you will destry the structural parts of your car (u will hit the bumpstops THAT hard) secondly, if u wanna lower it and keep the stock springs, then cut two coils. that will give u a nice 2.5-3 inch drop. but if u really wanna do it (i cannot believe im contributing to a ricer, i feel so dumb)then cut 4 in the front and three in the back, or 4 all around. have fun with it dude, and dont use a hacksaw, u will regret it. better yet, dont cut more than one coil, u'll regret any more than that too.

im running cut coils in the front with no problems, it actually rides good...i cut 3.5 coils if i remember right

man u are better of getting some cheap ass coilovers for like 70 bucks then cutting ur freaking springs. DAMN RICERS make the people who actually know what they are doing look bad.

i cut 3 coils all around and mine rides like ass....my car bounces more than a trick hoe with big titties running a marathon with no bra on...lol

Since you don't seem to know too much anout cuttin', go out and do this...

Stroll down to a muffler shop and have them heat your springs til your car is dropped the way you like it. I had this done once on my high ass civic (had it dropped til the mudflaps dragged with only 2 good coils left, dude wouldn't heat any more :P), my car wasn't that bouncy, but it was still bouncy. It wasn't as bouncy as other heated and cut springs, but it was still pretty bouncy.

So yeah go out and do that, I paid 20 bucks, but I don't know how much they charge in your area. They usually charge around fifty bucks, so I wouldn't pay more than fifty. Actually i wouldn't even pay fifty, since I paid 20.

When I took them off to put on some REAL springs, the heated ones were nice and lopsided. It was almost like a u bend :P. Oh and the ride is soooo much better with the REAL springs. But it heating the springs is an option. It's alright for the money, oh and expect to feel like you're riding a see-saw when you TRY to go over speed bumps. :P

dude i still think its better then cut springs. iam just saying tht its pretty sad to cut the springs. still have to take them off and resemble them. with coilovers atleast u can drop it 4 inch if u like or put it back to stock. i wouldnt want coilovers but atleast they are better then cut in my opinion sorry if i offened someon by saying damn ricers

well i know of a bunch of people using coilover sleeves and perches with cut stock springs since the coilover rates suck so much...no more discussion, he wants cut springs so let him
