the M-500 has datalogger built-in the unit. so you can just plug the receiver (wirelessly) to your laptop and start datalogging while driving and then tune your management computer.

the M-300 doesn't have that. the rest is the same.

one thing to note is that PLX certainly has wider range than AEM, it handles all the way down to 10:1 afr..
