T-3, Bosch Blow Off, MX-6 Cooler $100obo
Hello World I'm back again with some great parts,in great condition, selling for a great price (isn't all that just GREAT! ) LOL Seriously though, I'm not going to do the turbo Prelude idea. I'm going to stick to the small cube V-8's. Those who know my user name know I own a twinturbo Mustang. So the parts i've been accumalting are no longer of any use to me (though I'm sure I'll wish i still had them come early summer)
The turbo A/R specs are .48/.42 Hot/Cold. The shaft has little to no play and spins freely.
The inlet to the turbo was mildly cleaned upa bit. I removed all casting flash and smoothed it with a 180 grit wheel.
It has a wastegate but I don't have the the exhaust elbow for it.(planned to run an external so I jetisoned the stock elbow )
Bosch Blow-Off valve which is used in a variety of factory vehicles from Saab, Volvo, Porsche and Audi. It's a rubber type diaphram and is good to 15psi (I wouldn't trust the rubber past that personally) They sell for $55 new at the Porsche dealer (at least mine did) so I think it's a good deal along with the turbo and kewler
MX-6/Probe factory intercooler dimensions are 13x11x4
Not the biggest but it's functional and will serve the purpose without being much a restriction in a low boost set-up. I wouldn't look to run #20 of boost effecienctly through this thing but it should support a mild boost set-up without any fuss.
