Seeing if there is any demand for a project car
Welp its been a while since ive been around here because of school and work and such but I am seeing if there is anyone that would want to finish what Ive started. I have a 91 intergra LS with a 14b turbo, 450cc DSM injectors, side mount intercooler off a DSM, walbro 255lph pump, LSD blaster 2 coil, relocated battery in the trunk, and other goodies that will be included. I put the turbo in it less than a year ago and dont have the resources or funds to finish it sadly.
But there are some dowsides to this car... Ill list them here:
-the biggest issue is that i tried to use turbo edit and failed to ever get it working properly. So as a result there is something wrong with the ecu and the car does not exceed 3000 rpms. Ive tried new ECU's but have had no luck and I think someone with more experience with turboedit and tuning will be able to get the thing running like it should be. It probably needs a new chip and such but im not exactly sure.
-I have a temorary downpipe because it is a custom setup and I dont have a welder or other resources to complete an actual downpipe. Another thing that can be fixed with the proper resources and know how.
-leaks oil out of the inlet to the turbo (don't ever use www.cheapturbolines.com, things they gave me broke and half of the things didnt fit)
-brakes need a new master cylinder or something becasue they dont work all that well
-altezza lights (ive had the car since i was 16 and i dont even know why i bought the stupid things)
-rust spots and dings on the car but not in too bad of shape for being 15 years old
-no cd player or anything (last summer it got the window smashed in and yanked the CD player right out of it, they left my Ipod though which was wierd)

Now lets name off some of the goods things about the car:
-Its lowered and has been recently alligned so it rides pretty smooth
-Replaced the tires over the winter when it was alligned and there arent that many miles on them (between 2000-2500)
-its lasted me 5 years been in an accident and still remained pretty reliable (may have been in more accidents because there was one owner before me)
-engine is all stock but was replaced after 100000 miles so there is only 85000 miles on the engine (185k on chasis though)
-comes with a LSD BTM that doesnt work but I talked to LSD and they said they would repair it though
-the potential of the car is great its just going to take a little work to get it there
-here are some features of the car: sunroof, a/c, p/s, power windows, alarm thats works very well, tokico blues that are in good shape, boost oil pressure and A/F ratio gauges, radiator replaced 2 years ago, power seatbelts, actually has a good sound system in it just no cd player.
Pitures will be up later today hopefully (I dont have a camera and my roommate is at work so when he gets home ill take a few snapshots. I am looking to get about $1000 out of it so if you are interested either post up here or email me at jeter2karaffa@adelphia.net. Oh yeah i live in columbus, OH and I will be in cleveland this weekend. Thanks guys!
