DSMs aren't my style I'm a honda/nissan/sbc kinda guy... The car is worth $4k to the right buyer would like to trade strait up or for a car of equal value or of lesser value+$ I'm located in Superior WI, 54880................... Car info nogs!!!!

1995 Eagle Talon TSI, AWD Turbo 5spd. Mint shape, virgin, bone stock down to the paper air filter... engine and tranny both are smooth no grinds/knocks 4bolt limitedslip rear diff works great and the interior is clean. tried to get clean pics but impossible in my town.. any Q's post em up. and open to pretty much any trade just tell me what ya got thanks..

yes it is. and millage is 170k. the guy I got it from said it had a full rebuild at 120k. no proof though. I suspect he was telling the truth because of how tight the motor is.

Yeah 2g DSM's aren't going for near what they used to. Especially 2ga Talon's. A few years ago you could get $6-$8k out of them depending on condition and mods. Now getting $5k out of one is nearly impossible. I've got my 1995 Talon AWD for sale as well right now. 100k original, flawless interior/exterior, virgin wiring harness, GT3255E turbo, Garrett FMIC, brand new RSA 17" wheels and also brand new Bridgestone Blizzak tires, Eibach springs, 3" mandrel exhaust, etc, etc. I can't even get $5k out of it and it's seriously the cleanest Talon I've ever owned or seen in person. Runs perfect, boosts hard, and has zero issues. IDK how you're gonna get $4k for your high mileage stocker, but maybe they go for more where you are.

You can get a gst, tsi (even awd) around here for $2,500 cash money. Some are even taking lowball offers.

2g gsx's, especially fresh ones are still pretty high. I dont see how they hold their value but they do.

Dsm trader, modified car trader and craigslist are probably going to be your best bets in getting rid of it.

Good god. It's like you completely overread my post.

Most of these guys like halfway reliable cars, not dsm's. If we wanted cars that spent their lives on jackstands, we'd all own dsm's. I ------- lived off top ramen, easy mac and tv dinners when i had mine. ----------er would NOT stop breaking. They cannot take a beating for ----. The engines are stout but the ecu's, sensors, suspension, electrical is crap. Oh, yeah. See crank walk. Walk crank walk. Doesn't happen often but it's a HUGE turnoff that people associate dsm with along with this acronym

These cats rock honda because they're known for having parts galore (CHEAP PARTS GALORE). Try to go on craigslist and snooker some teenager out of mommy and daddies money. That is your best ------- bet and you know i'm right. I'm not bashing your car, it's just dsm's have this stigma about them in the tuning world and for good reason. In the world of mexicans, dumb white trash and girls, dsm's are godsend. Tack a turbo on to that and WOOOOOWEEEE!

I got rid of mine like that but said "TURBO KIT and many extras", made a retarded long parts list for every nut and bolt along with prices i paid and never sold it. I changed the add and just said "eclipse turbo f/s, fast" and it was gone. I took that turbo ---- off b/c i blew the hotside on my t25. Buyer didn't know that however I did it because I Can't start it up and have it smoking like a rasta for test drives. Then nobody would buy it. The look on the kids face when he paid some ass $200 to install the turbo kit must have been priceless. I wish i was there for it at start up to see all that joy turn into "I got fucked by karma" ;D

2GECLIPSERST::::::: your points are valid however I'm not gonna talk this car up just to sell it to some dumb ricer punk lol I'm not even desperate to sell it just through it on here to get the word out see if anybody one this site would be interested... all the hate people have for these cars is just, which is why I want to get rid of this one before it fucks up. it's worth more stock than modded.. I washed it here are some clean pics. just to show you it's a decent vehicle

I've had a reliable modded DSM before. Went 5 years at 20psi and never missed a beat. The only problem was that I blew up a little coolant hose one winter, but that was a 2 minute fix. It was FWD though. The AWD are never reliable.
