k; i'll do it for $10.

since one will only need like $5 in parts to chip an ecu.

I read something about a odb2 chip setup, I think I did a google search. It takes a surface mount chip.

Re:I can burn chips if you need them

Well I understand what chipping is, but how do you know what adjustments to make if you don't know my setup etc? Wouldn't that be specific to each car, vs. just a generic chip for everyone?

Yep, its specific to each car and mods, you tell someone what you got and they burn a chip specifically for you. There is no generic chip.

Not to be too big of a dick, but isn't this what the CLASSIFIEDS forum is for? I can burn chips too, but I'm sure as hell announcing it here.

Re:I can burn chips if you need them

do you have any multicolored chips? what about chips dupped in catnip? My cat likes to chase chips across the floor and bend the pins... I'm trying to find something he might find more appealing.

Good luck on soldering SMT chips. Those thing's leads are tiny so close together. Can you change a 0bd1 ecu from auto to manual?
