Just wondering if your sale went thru with BSN on the rods and pistons... If not, I'm still interested in trading you all the b series stuff I mentioned to you in page 1. Mostly interested in the Scat Rods. Please let me know. Thanks bro!

Bump for new pics and an update on the ----..

So I'm pretty sure one of the rods is bunk. When i poped the cap off to drop it out of the cyl. the bearing fell out of the cap, doesnt usuallly do that. So its kinda dark in there. My dad told me i could reuse the rod when i put it back together. Doesnt appear so.. It had almost 3000mi on it though?? The bearing looks pretty worn, probably would have spun within a little while. I pretty much told BSN he could have the ----. A new rod from scat is $70, i guess he can have first dibs on weather he or anyone else for that matter still wants it or not. Block and crank are good though, the mains look pretty good. As you can see in the pics, the cyl walls are like brand new. And so is the clutch disk. The pressure plate looks beat up because i leave the tranny in the car when i pull the engine; and the pp has to scrape against the tranny a little when it goes in/out.

If the rod isn't heat discolored or scarred, it is fine. Sometimes the bearings absorb all the damage.

its not scarred, but it does have a black line in the middle??? Can you see it well enough from the pics?

Since one of the scat rod is possibly not good anymore and it will cost around $70 for a replacement... can someone tell me what they think the set is worth now? I'm still welling to trade some B parts if you're still up for it sohcpower?? PM me...
