A D16Y8 is VTEC, this is a non-vtec cam. The cams are a little different, just a little. ;) - Matt

it will only work on non vtec 16v heads.

ok.. well ill put it in my other (non vtec head (d16a6) which is just sitting in my garage and ill do sumthin with it, lol. show me sum pics and i may hit you up~!
