What kind of time frame are we talking here I need a burner in the next few weeks?

That's 11 people. If you want, I can run this, It'd be as simple as gathering the money, I've got the Paypal debit card, so I could make the order as soon as I'm paid, and then I'll ship out in those padded envelopes once the order arrives. Basically, if you added on 3% plus like $5 to cover s&h, we could get a pretty good deal.

Costs:
Zif socket 28 pin - 8+ buyers = $8.41
Programmer 4 - 5+ buyers = $92.74
Chips ? 27SF256 - 1-29 buyer= $3.11
(Note: I don't know if these work, but it makes sense to me to get a electronicly erasable chip, as that way, reburns will be easier, and it's supposed to be a replacement for the 27c256 chips, and is the same price.)

Total product cost per person : $ 104.26 w/ 1 chip.
Subtract or add as necessary for more or less chips.
Shipping to me came to about $100 (from Germany, looking into US supplier) so about $10/person, depending on the number of people.
Plus $5 s&h, me to you
Plus 3% paypal fee = about $122.84/person

Not bad, for $0.27 more that the normal product price, you get it all shipped to your door. If we find a US supplier with a similar deal, we'll be saving a lot on shipping...
