Holset HY35
Bought this turbo about a year and a half ago with 5000 miles off it(the guy had a picture of the trucks dash, it came off an 04'). Picked it up off H-T, I the guy I bought it off of said his 'friend' stole it from the dodge dealership he worked at. But I think it was him.
Turbo looks great, I never personally ran it, but it has zero shaft play (it only has 5k on it). I cut up the stock cast elbow and made a piecut 3" SS elbow with the stock Vband on it (size was an issue with the cast elbow). I have the stock oil line but I belive it is a #4 ORB if you want to use something else. The stock wastegate is set to 22 psi, but I doubt anyone would use it. This turbo has the surge suppression system by holset, compressor has a 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet. Incase you don't know this unit comes from the I6 cummins deisel found in dodge pickups. Here is a link on H-T dedicated to Holset turbo setups http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1225182&page=1 If you want to put down HUGE HP numbers this is a good turbo for you. Efficient all the way up 30+psi of boost with high CFM numbers here is their website with nfo [ulr]http://www.holset.co.uk/files/2_1_1_3-Holset%20HX35.php[/url] I know I'm selling the HY not the HX, the HY came on automatics and spooled faster but they are basically the same unit. Kinda like a Td04-15g and a td05-14b similarity for mitsubishi. 350 US plus shipping which is a great deal. Oil supply is included as well as the elbow fitting I made. reply here or email me at BigJ5_5@hotmail.com, don't PM me because I never check them. I live in Hamilton Ontario Canada, and I could arrange a pickup as well. HMT gets first dibs! |
