Hacker's Electronic boost controller, 115 shipped

Currently, in stock I have 3 built and two waiting on parts of the original 20 prototypes. Once those are gone the prices are going to be 300 bones...

The controller is still in prototype stage. So I'm not selling to everyone yet. You have to have a strong motor, laptop for logging and help me solve a problem if you have one, and have a solid turbo setup. I not looking for people who just got thier HMT kit together last night. I'm looking for the people that have tuned motors and have been running a solid setup for atleast 6 months.

PM if your intrested, its 115 shipped via paypal. The EBC does not come with a solenoid, but I have a link on the forum where you can get it for around 20 dollars.

I have lots of information about the EBC on http://forum.tullostech.com/index.php?board=2.0

Here's a pic

You can buy a Profec B spec II for $260. I can't see you getting anywhere near $300, sorry. You may want to realign your business plan a bit.

well for those on hmt/ht/sni will get a discount that makes the final price which will be lower than greddys, then again greddy's ebc is open loop so its not really comparable to an closed loop system. also I dont think its as configurable as mine. I'm not sure how many closed loop's there are, but I believe turbo smart's ebc is closed loop and its way more than 300.

I guess I'll see how the market goes, but thats not a real good comparision imho.

is it set up to run with the gm solenoid? i'd be interested in testing for you, i have my own solenoid, but i don't know about paying just to test the product. i've got a built b16 pushing 20 psi on pump gas, pm me if you want me to test something for you O0

projeckteg,

Hacker's EBC can use pretty much any aftermarket automotive boost solenoid. One of the guys running the EBC has an aftermarket solenoid that cost over 100 dollars. thats crazy, but hey it works good. I'm want to compare data logs he has to see if that solenoid really is worth the extra $$.

As for testing for free, nah. I have to much into parts and time to give this EBC away. But if you have some Vitara pistons that I'll trade you ;D

The problem with profec B's ect. is that you set the damn thing at the boost you want, and then the temperature drops and rises all day and all night, and it's never the same twice. The next boost controller I'll buy will definately be closed loop. The only thing that would kind of worry me about this one is all the "setting it up" and "tuning" it. It kinda reminds me of the issues I have with things like Turboedit, ect.... I don't like doing things to the "I hope it's right" level, I want to be able to know it's right, because I know what I'm doing.

I tried looking on the site to see if you have the general info in English about it, but I didn't find anything yet that makes me feel better. lol.

Being part of the Smith family I'm just as retarded as Steve so I feel the same way. As long as this thing is "user-friendly" I'd say it's one hell of a deal at $115 shipped.
