FS: Precision Turbo - sc6152 w/ optional "S" compressor cover
 

Hey guys, I have up for sale a precision sc6152. It is fitted with the optional "S" compressor cover which was a 200 dollar option. Here is the background on this turbo.. It was used in an all out drag car for about 30 passes. During one of the passes, the turbo sucked in something and damaged the compressor wheel fins. The owner of the drag car replaced the turbo since he is a hard core drag racer and every 1000th of a second matters. The turbo then sat around for a couple months. My friends turbo blew in his s2k so he asked the guy with the drag car if he had a turbo to borrow while he was waiting to get his turbo rebuilt. He lent my friend this turbo in the mean time. The turbo ran flawlessly in the s2k for a couple of months. I drove it with this turbo in and it was an absolute beast (over 500whp). The disadvantage of these compressor fins being damage seemed to be unnoticeable. The seals are mint and there is no excessive shaft play. It is a journal bearing so the minimal play there is, is 100 percent normal. This turbo has less then 1500 miles on it from what i understand.

Willing to PART out the turbo? 100 shipped for the back plate and cover. Those fins are in terrible condition and WILL hurt it's performance.
