FS: Nice Turbo .80 / .64

For sell here is a T2 turbo from an s13/14 Nissan Silvia. I'm going bigger so these turbo isn't need anymore.

Included with the turbo comes the O2 sensor, DP extension, DP Flange, DP Gasket, Turbine Flange, Internal WG, CNC'ed Drain Flange w/gasket bought from Fast-Turbo.com and some studs.

The turbo has regular side to side play and NO in and out play. The turbo is water and oiled cooled. Picture are available upon request. Send an email to my email address at xxpollopimpxx@Netscape.net for faster responses and or picture request. You can message me on AIM also through the same name listed above.

Price is firm to sell at $150 picked up or Meeting spot can be arranged. Reason for that price is the fact that all the flanges are included and each of those are $20 a pop and the Drain Flange is $18 from fast-turbo excluding shipping. That's $58 alone and with the rest of the items $150 is a reasonable price.

Overall it's a nice turbo for a small application.

Good Day,
RH.

Side Note: Using sister's photobucket account to host the pictures - if they go down let me know so I can get it fixed. Thanks.

Yeah, just like I typed it. It's an .80 / .64 T2 from a Nissan Silvia. I have pictures also to show for it. It uses a different flange then a T25. The flange is rectangular and not circular.

We want a picture of it next to a coke can because we've never heard of this turbo (it's not common) and we're trying to figure out what kind of size turbo we're talking about. From the looks of it, the housings are big, but I'm just wondering how this thing would do on a D series. 8)

That is what it was intended for - My D monster but I'm going to be coming up with some money so I'm going to go with a T3 series for the more variety since I plan on slapping in some pistons and rods since I already have the eagle rods.

If anyone is interested LMK.

RH.

Re: FS: Nice Turbo .80 / .64

If it's between the sizes of a T25 and T28 like you said it was, money would have been sent. The problem is that the size of the wheels makes a big difference when judging if it handles smaller motors than a T25 (like all literature I found suggests) or bigger motors. Using the GT pdf as an example (purely for compairing like-turbos of different sizes), the differences in the turbine and compressor wheels are just a few millimeters between the GT22, GT25, and GT28's. The only vehicles using T2's I found were tiny Japanese hatchbacks smaller than mini coopers running 1.3L's.

Like I said in the email I'm wary of having even a T25 on my LS for the few months till I get a GT28, I just wanted to be sure I didn't put a snail on that put me below 50% effeciency (based on regular T2 info I found) when I'm close to redline. I'd like to think it'd work, but wishful thinking isn't very consoling when the motor stops pulling at 5k.

I'd be a good turbo for a D series since they like smaller turbos, not to mention they usually need an adapter to the HF mani regardless of turbo. If you can dig anything else up on that turbo showing it can push more air than a T25 I'd send consider it again. Anyways, good luck.

Like I told you when we talked before - These turbo would be to small for your application - If you are going to run it as a temp. it's up to you. The T2 flange and the T25 flange are both different - I told you these so there wouldn't be an confusion. Steatlh posted a jpeg on what these turbo is up top.

Good Day,
