FS: Early D16A1/PG6 pistons and rods (the beefy kind)
 

I have for sale one set of d16a1 / pg6 pistons and rods. the rods are the early model beefy kind and are in great shape. The pistons however are in ok shape. I've heard that these can be used still and i've heard that they can't. They are within spec but they are knicked in a few spots (see pix). They're included with the rods i guess. I'm asking $120 shipped for the pistons/rods. ASk FJT what these rods are capable of if you're wondering.

I have referances on ebay; over 73 all posative feedback under the userid "TSAudio"; i've traded with a dozen or so members on honda-tech and i couldnt even begin to remember them all though. The vitara pistons are already sold

as you can see the piston in the bottom has some marks on it; that is the worst of them.

umm yeah they are... They're a lot thicker and wider than stock. They are as big as LS rods but require nothing special to fit them in a d-series. Thanks for trying though assclown

I dont know what caused the marks; but it was definately from something that happened after they were taken out of a motor. I had the pistons measured with a caliper and they are still round and within spec and there is no marking above the ringlands.
I could take more pictures if you'd like.
