Default FS: 50 DVD+R DL

I have 50 Memorex DVD+R DL. I just bought them, only to have my DVD drive take a shiat on me. I'm broke as hell from school so need the cash to buy a new burner. **Sold**

I never got your others past when I was getting a shipping quote (which I'm waiting on a scale to show up now )

Nope, Verbatims give me coasters 8/10 times. The best media I have found is Sony and Memorex. On a side not I meant to ask you about the write speed. Everyone says burn at 2.4x, but I know you said before it was a myth. Care to indulge? Also the Verbatims I had would give me a burn error when they were at 100%, so just need closing. Any idea what's up with that or how I could go in and just close them? (failed at 100% using ImgBurn and CloneCD)

I was using a BenQ DW 1650, which seems to be VERY picky on the media you use.

I used Verbatims with my Samsung $20 dual-layer burner and never had one fail. Also, I never went the suggested 2.4x speed and never had problems.

Were the verbatims the ones you got from me? I'm pretty sure I only gave you usable ones, but maybe they were scratched? Either way, they're highly recommended discs for xbox 360 backup purposes. I think you just have a shitty drive and/or firmware.

This is the one I bought a year or two ago for $20. It's 18.99 now and they have a 16.99 model without the lightscribe crap.

Yeah the verbatims were the ones you gave me, which were scratched. Get some more and I'll try a nice fresh one.
