FS: 1985 AE86 Corolla GTS "kouki trueno"
Thats right kids.. My AE86 might be up for grabs here..
Car is a 1985 Corolla GT-S.
California car.
Repainted by Tuned Sport Customs spring of '04 in HOK Orion Silver paint.
JDM Kouki Trueno bumpers.
JDM Sprinter taillights.
Martelius 4-2-1 header and 2.5" exhaust.
JDM TRD rally springs.
TRD suspension bushings.
TRD strut mounts.
Tokiko White shocks.
Will come with:
1991 Formula Atlantic spec head:
- oversized valves
- dual springs
- bronze guides
- Web 295 cams
- full race ported head (package good to over 10,000rpm)
1991 redtop shortblock, brand new, never been in car. Has some minor rust on underside from sitting in the barn.
1986 LSD rear differential, 86 has bigger axles, needed for the FA engine.
OEM Toyota T50 transmission rebuild kit. Mostly complete.
1985 Stock taillights, and some misc interior pieces.
Asking 5k or REASONABLE offer. I have over 10k into the car already.
Those are the most recent pictures I have of it, It has been sitting in storage since then, I have put about 300 miles on the car since it was painted.
Car is located in West Michigan

Yeah, I think you'll have to show some proof of the Formula Atlantic spec engine. A "rebuildable" condition F-Atlantic 4A-GE goes for well over $10,000.

however it looks the same since I took those pictures not long before I put the car in storage.
It has been there since.
The head was purchased through Topi at TRS-USA. Which is no longer in business. I paid nearly $2500 for it and the camshafts.
It is the exact same head that Jay Streets and Tony Delacuesta used on their SCCA Pro rally cars. Back when most of you guys were probably welding 14b's to HF manifolds these heads were winning champs.
