Its a gm 8
I've taken measurements of both the compressor wheel and turbine as well as the housings. The turbo itself is an RCH6 and spools fine on a 6.5 turbo diesel at 3,000 rpm, but that is an 8 cylinder. You're going to have issues with lag on a 4 cylinder and by the time it spools to full potential, you better have fuel. A better bet would be to turn around and sell it again as a good center cartridge costs $800 WITH core exhange should you need one for your GMC. These turbos rebuilt will fetch $1,200-$1,600 complete on any of the turbodiesel website which deal with rebuilt turbos.
