no need for flaming. there's always going to be torsional vibration in an i-4cyl. motor. the stuff i've read is that stroke has the most to do with how much vibration. the 96-00 model d series civics all have a torsional dampner. it's not a harmonic balancer, but the rubber in it dampens the torsional vibration that the motor puts out. over peiods of time, the crankshaft will start to twist and flex due to the amount vibration and cause the bearings to lose their seat.(spun bearing) now the d16z6 and the d16y7 and d16y8 all have a torsional dampner from the factory due to their 90mm stroke. the d15's with the 84.5mm stroke don't have the dampner in their crank pulley. and i'm curious to why the d16a6 doesn't have one either. it has the 90mm stroke as well. but i have seen cases where people will use a d16z6 harmonic dampner on a d16a6 for hopes of the motor lasting longer.

btw, the stock d16z6 pulley weighs less than the y8 pulley. i've actually tried to test fit the z6 pulley on my y8 but the timing cover sticks out further due to the cfk sensor and rubs the timing cover too much to be safe. but i feel the y8 pulley's will fit a z6 without any problem.

you will sell it on ebay, people buy all the time, when I bought mine I used to get outbid everytime could never get on off ebay for cheap, then my friend trade me his for my stock pulley. big mistake. he use to tell me that its not safe to run it, because of oil pump failure, that did not seem logical since the oil pump is driven by the crank not the pulley, and since I am a big risk taker used it. did not ruined my pump but it ruined my bearings after 8000miles, no oil pressure
