Fullrace style manifolds are on hold right now. They take really long to make and I have too many log and short tubulars to make right now.Sorry
And Sem,try using a 1.5 inch bimetel holesaw, but cut slow so you dont burn up the teeth.Thats what I use to cut the one in above pic.Works really good. And post pics when you get it done.
Sohc Sleeper,you got mail.

Got rid of my ssautocrap. Ready to reinvest - wisely this time I hope.

Since the tubular ones don't have equal-length runners, is there a real performance advantage over the log style or is it mostly bling?
Also, do you offer any warranty on these?

shitbird 11-28-2003 12:53 AM

Re:Custom Manifolds for CHEAP

Mostly bling I guess.I will repair or replace any of my manifolds if they crack free of charge.Only if it has not been tampered with...welded by someone else, cut, ground, refabbed by anyone else. But I highly doubt it will crack.

Re:Custom Manifolds for CHEAP

Here is my deal:
I'd like to keep A/C and run a T3 super 60 with an internal wastegate and a 3" downpipe, or at least 2.5", but hopefully 3". Can you do this by offsetting the flange, or am I crazy? If this is not possible I will probably forget about the internal wastegate and use my deltagate (otherwise I'm selling it). Thanks.
BTW: if you CAN. I want one, please. I'll pay as soon as you can get it done. If you can't make it work, please let me know. d16tuner@yahoo.com

Re:Custom Manifolds for CHEAP

I dont want to step in where i dont belong but with log manifolds generally you can only run a 2.5"=>3" DP to keep A/C. If you are doing a full HMT setup i doubt you will find the need to do anything larger than 2.5".

I've got 3" into the turbo, 2.5 to the tb, and I'm shooting for 3" to the cat (and later all the way). You don't need huge pipes going to the tb since the air is being compressed, but the super-heated air coming from the engine needs larger diameter piping due to the fact that it is expanded. And if you are forcing twice the air (as stock) into an engine, you need twice the piping coming out if it is going to flow well, right? Ok, no log mani is gonna flow THAT well, but it is all about compromises. That is why I've always thought bigger is better in a FI app. I want to run 3" if possible. If it isn't possible, 2.5 may have to do, or I may elect to use the external gate. which would remove some of the exhaust vomume from the dp. The only problem with the external gate is that I'd have to find or fabricate a flange for my T3 (mercedes type) which isn't gonna be that easy, so I'd like to use the internal gate. As for the pic, there wasn't one. ;)

EDIT: What is wrong BIGWIG, need your paci? reread my post and figure out what I was saying before you respond. That is it for me, it ain't my thread.

Dude...can you read? i was just talking about a downpipe. I'll say it again because obviously you are a little slow.
IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN A 3" DOWN PIPE OFF A LOG MANIFOLD AND KEEP YOUR AIR CONDITIONING. YOU WILL EITHER NEED TO RUN A STRAIGHT 2.5" DOWNPIPE OR HAVE IT 2.5" AND FLARE OUT TO 3".
