Re:Cnc Machine
my brother uses a shopbot brand cnc machine. it was about 10,000 and he cant even make that big of stuff on it. you might wanna check them out, i dont know what size machines they make, but his machine is top quality. good stuff. probably the thickest thing you could make is an underdrive pulley on his though. i'll shut up as i'm probably not any help.

Re:Cnc Machine
There should be some good deals to be had on a machine from up here in Seattle with all of the Boeing cutbacks.
Call Brian at Capital Equipment 253-804-5911, he found some very good deals for me in the past. You can also try a old buddy of mine Jarett at Yamazen 888-872-1909, he sells new Okumas, and will know about deals to be had on used stuff too. I saw this great CNC wheel machine at the SEMA show, it was about 80k. Jim |

Re:Cnc Machine
DUH, Beau, think about what you just said, 2 machines?
You would need to have four machines if you wanted to make all 4 different wheels, LF-RF-LR-RR. Are you baked? ;D |
Re:Cnc Machine
why would you need four machines, you can just make 4 wheels in one machine, but not at the same time.

Re:Cnc Machine
I was j/k, only Beau would need 4 machines. ;)
