You should add a socket for the 74HC they're only 20-30¢ if you buy em in bulk and that would be your "added value" over the other guys ;)

Also, what are the specs on the caps and that resistor?

the 74hc's don't need a socket, however, the 29c does, it' doesn't mate up to that dip socket ;)

Yea I just realized that, heh. Well, they can use it with a zif(which is how all mine are). Thanks.

Anytime I add any IC, I use a socket. It just makes it so much easier to not fry the IC when soldering it on and makes replacement for incompatible IC's a snap.
