6.3Mp all you need really. Ive printed beautiful 20x30 prints from it. $550 is a steal for this.

 

Bump if you wanna go big get this camera. Not much more then most high end P&S and the ability to get whatever canon lense you want. Macro lens, L-Glass, big zoom, the works.
