Will have a bunch of flat panel tvs this weekend if anyone in the southeast (or who likes driving) wants one. I'm in Alabama, btw. Oh yeah, the Cingular phones are brand new in box. The Verizon phones are brand new but DON'T come with a box or accessories.

Well, the cingular phones I'm not sure about. I'm sure you can find the subsidy unlock codes online, I never looked. Or, you could call Cingular, say you just bought the phone but didn't want to start the service until you came back from overseas because you were deployed, and ask them for the subsidy unlock so you can use it out of the country. EDIT: Now that I think about it, there might be software for the phone to unlock them. I know my HTC Wizard (T-Mobile MDA, Cingular 8125?) has a program to unlock it with software you can find online. I'm sure it's the same for the Treo since it uses the same operating system.

As far as the Verizon phones, they aren't locked to Verizon if that's what you mean. Verizon doesn't have these ESN numbers. I use my monthly T-Mobile MDA for personal use, and have Page Plus Prepaid on a vx9800 for "business" use.

That was definitely uncalled for. Some of them have Cingular logos meaning they would be locked to Cingular. I was just wondering if the picture used was just an example of a similar phone or a pic of one of the ones for sale. You know taken from a website where Jorsher may have bought them.

Yeah these are probably still locked to Cingular, but like I said I'm pretty sure there's software for them to unlock. That's one benefit to windows mobile. I didn't buy them from any website...it would have cost more :P

Not always the case. When I had cingular the Motorola's I had were "semi-locked" to cingular...meaning you could unlock it for use with any service provider, but you only had 3 tries to get it right before it was permently locked for that provider.
