put a gasket up to it (the right way 8)) and you might be able to redrill the holes on each side to make it fit. alot easier then cutting the flange off and having to use a new flange

because on B series head flanges the bottom bolt on the left side sits slightly higher then the rest of the bottom bolt, and he used a weir flange which has an angle sort of cut on that side (look at the pic and compare each side) i only really noticed it because i build a few manifolds a week and use weir flanges.

No not at all. The only reason its like that is because i had to run it through a craborundum to get it flat before i welded it.
