yeah, bought it like that. prev owner bored it out, yet used stock pistons. rings collapsed, along with ringlands.

300 I6 > 302 V8

Still, it's a c0mpl3x project... $5 says the EFI will come off after 50 miles because he can't make it run right. :l

word, the 300 inline 6 is a reliable ass motor, there's about 4 local 300 6 F150s in town with over 300k miles, 1 has 400k.

Jon nuts for ford 300's, ever ford truck he's owned since I met him (is it 3 or 4 now jon?) all had them.

Nice progress since I was at your house and your engine bay was a pile of emptiness

yeah, most of the motor swap was done myself. ------ heavy motors too

300's have power of a v6, mpg of a v6, torque of a v8, with powerband a diesel. perfect application to build on.
