93 Del sol for sale/trade + cash
 

Welll, I doubt to get any serious business here, but I'm selling my obnoxiously yellow del sol with the hopes to get something cheaper and a little more discreet. Currently located in Aspen, but would be willing to drive a ways if necessary

its a 93 del sol s and has:
jdm sohc vtec swap (~50k miles)
95 civic si tranny (just put in new input shaft bearing)
ebay stage 3 6 puck clutch and matching pressure plate (~3k miles)
short ram intake
2 1/4 in exhaust
aftermarket header
15in 5 spoke black rims
aftermarket rear bumper
1 yr old paint job
c/f hood
not a spot of rust
skunk2 lowering springs and dropzone shocks
60 mm throttle body
comptech rear tie bar
etc etc

Overall, I put a lot of time and money into trying to derice and make it nice. It rides and handles great, and the d16 scoots it along well enough to make it fun to drive. I'm asking $5200 obo on craigslist which I know is a bit steep, but thats in anticipation of lowballing mofos. The HMT price is obviously obligated to be lower, but basically, make me an offer I can't refuse.

Mark, sorry for not visiting-- I was definitely looking forward to pizza and beer and good company, but I didn't leave chicago until saturday morning, and I had to work at 7am on sunday morning, so I didn't get into Denver until around midnight with a 3hr drive to go still.

The car is being sold because, as much fun as its been, I'm kind of over the rice rocket. I could use some extra cash right now, and I like the idea of getting a cheaper vehicle and having some cash left over to make it faster (read: eg hatch/crx + b18b/c + turbo). So if you know of anyone that wants a clean sol, or that has a clean crx or hatch (potentially with a b swap) let me know!

and just so everyone knows, I had a guy contact me to see if I was interested in trading my sol + cash for his nearly finished 300zx tt with a jdm engine/tranny swap + lots of goodies. The 300zx tt is my dream car, so it shows you how broke I am to not have taken that deal. so make offers, or tell all your friends/ your friend's girlfriends / your moms

s1mplex, I put a new tranny in. Weren't you following along with all my mishaps when I was trying to replace the input shaft bearing in the new tranny? It has a 95 si transmission with an ebay "stage 3" 6 puck and matching pressure plate
