Default 89 HF motor, tranny, ecu

I'm gonna be doing my swap pretty soon, and I would hate to just throw this good motor away. So if anyone has a shell, beater that needs a new motor, or whatever, I'll have this motor out of my car in about two weeks. It has 140k and runs so good it's sickning that I'm even swapping it. But we all know that you can't turbo an hf. :P

Let me know if anyone has any interest or a good place for this setup. I'm in So. California, and I want to find a good home for my hf.

Damn, I really would hate to waste a good setup though. Maybe I can find a cheap shell with a blown motor or something and make a commuter car. I'm really gonna hate myself if I have problems with my new motor.

Hey man.. im from So. Cal too, and would be more than happy to take the motor off your hands... Is it a d15b2? What kind of money are you looking to get, and are you leaving the exhaust manifold on it? Would be more than willing to pay for the motor, although I am not rich

Well, the hf manifold will of course have other duties on my friends car. I would want next to nothing for the whole motor, tranny, and ecu. Maybe $100. You could even come by and drive it before I swap it.

I live in bakersfield.. shouldnt be to far to drive.. i wanna go to road race too, so i would like to do both in the same day.. even from driveable status, it'll only take 2 hours to pull the motor and trans... And yes, I promise to love and cherish!(And put a MPFI manifold on)
