Hey guys. I'm located in Mechanicsburg Pa. I have a 1990 hatch that I bought awhile back. For a bunch of reasons the state is giving me a hard time about the title. I bought it legally though. the car is rough. the interior is currently gutted. I have most of the parts still. no fenders, the body is in good shape other wise. I was going to turn it into a drag car but i just don't have the time. I will take any offers for it if your interested.. it has a tired 1.5L that runs and drives. if you think you might want it and are willing to pick it up I can get pics. I only paid $100 and did a bunch of body work.. I'd like to get that for it.

how is the engine and is it std dx or si?

 

its a dx. the engine runs but has 250k miles and very low compression in two holes. I think its rings. Its also a four speed. I have already done most of the body work. I don't have fenders for it and I removed the side molding and smoothed it. I can try to get some pics.. My cameras cable is dead.. I will let it go for cheap.. And again this is going as a non street car. The woman I bought it from lives in texas somewhere now and the state is giving me ---- about taxes because I bought it so cheap.. So I don't have a current title for it. The car is all torn apart. the rear side glass is out.. but in good shape.. the interior is all out and I have most of it. the dash is half way back in the car. I would like to get atleast $100 for it like it is. With about $200 in parts and a really cheap pant job it would be a nice looking car. Slap a cheap engine swap in and it will be a fast nice looking car for cheap.

Ok.. I gotta get a new cable to the camera to download.. The stupid cats had some fun with it.. Too bad it wasn't plugged to the wall so they could have had some real fun.

It looks nice.. All in grey primer. My plan was to get it going and drive the thing but I just have too many projects and I know its gonna be years till I would get to work on it. I can tell you there was no rust in the floor, only in the front and rear of the rear wheel wells. I cut out all the rust and welded new sheet mettal in. then used fiberglass and bondo to make everything straight. Its done right. There is one spot a few inches front of the pass side rear tire where all I did was grind it down and that is still rusty. Other than that it all looks good.
