1990 Civic Hatch Project $650
I have a 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback for sale, the description is as follows:
BODY: The car is burgandy with a black top, car looks good, other than black top exterior is stock besides the smoked headlights.
INTERIOR: The rear of the car from the front seats back is stripped out, it needs a driver side door panel and has no radio, has a Crx Si driver side seat with usual wear and tear on side bolster, has a 92 Integra passenger side seat which is black.
MOTOR: The car has been converted to OBD1 to run the 1995 Sohc Vtec D16z6 engine. All the wiring was purchased from Rywire.com. The block was rebuilt before putting it in the car and the head was ported out. Motor is very clean, the only problem is now the head has some bent valves i believe. I can get it running but it runs rough and i don't want to start it the way it sits and mess it up anymore. I installed the timing belt wrong when putting the motor in and i believe thats where my project went wrong because now it's got a head problem. Other than the head the motor is in pristine condition, I also have another head to throw in with the car that is stock.
The car sits on stock 13" steelies and has stainless steel braided brake lines, strut bars all around and is lowered. This was my daily driver for over 2 years, it had a dohc zc in it until i blew it spraying nitrous hence the new motor.
I've put well over 2500 dollars into the motor and bits and pieces to get it running and failed. My loss is your gain, as it sits it should only need about $300 in head work to be a decent good running car and it would have vtec. The car has a chipped P28 ecu to run with stock z6 maps all wired for obd1. I really love this car and have put alot of money and hard work into it but i can't get it running and back the way it needs to be because of my life situation right now, plus i don't have the time and i'm disgusted with it. Please give it a good home!!!
You can call me at (240)899-7894 or email me at S_Thompson_Jr@Yahoo.com if your interested and want to talk.
My name is Steve and i'm located in Martinsburg, Wv which is 15 minutes away from hagerstown, md
