Dude, there's no such thing as a "Chinese" exhaust housing. Get ur facts straight. It's a garret ".48" exhaust housing. It has an internal wastegate which is not shown. Here's a clip of the blades turning. Hope that clears up the issue with the blade to exhaust clearance. Let me know thanks.

Yes there is. Familiarize yourself with how Turbonetics lost the exclusive right to market Garrett turbos in non-OEM applications. Sneaking behind Garrett's back for cut rate chinese housings.

Yeah, and it doesn't show ---- due to lack of light and lack of resolution. The best I can tell is you have a big gap between exhaust housing and turbine wheel due to having a stage 2 (likely chinese) housing fitted to a CHRA equipped with a stage 1 wheel. Until you prove otherwise with actual decent high res pictures of what I have repeatedly asked for I'm going to stick to my guns about that.

I guess I wasn't clear enough in my description. It's not a "Chinese" exhaust housing. I swapped the stock exhaust housing (.63) with a (.48) housing. The .48 housing is from a STOCK turbo vehicle. So since the Chinese only make after market housings, it's not CHINESE made. This swap has worked for me in the past and has given me some decent hp numbers. As for the resolution in the camera, sorry that's the best I can do. I couldn't get the camera to center correctly so it was at a slight angle when I took the shot. I don't know if this shot will do but check it out let me know.

Looks like a bit of a gap there.

What OEM vehicle did you get that turbine housing off of?

Yeah camera was at a slight angle. It was one of those station wagon volvos, I don't know what year though. To tell you the truth I don't know if this setup will rob you of any power or not but I have gain some decent whp on my previous kit using an exhuast housing setup like this. I'm pretty sure many HMT members have done this too. But sorry if pics aren't showing exactly what u want. Let me know thanks.
