iv read a few posts aboout guys who were PLANNING on runin vitara piston w/ls rods ,just wondering if any body acctually runs this setup ? Wondering if u had to get bushings made or did the pistons work w/out one?

 

all my pistions are bushing free

except for the ls ones and i ended up with about 3 per

 

You need to make bushings, the pin sizes are different.

I think MADMAX on here runs LS/vitaras.

For the money/time of making bushings, just spend the money on some Eagles/TunerToys/FJT H-beams.

 

LS rods 1st get supra-t pistons FTW

If you have a machinist who likes you this a great budget idea. The old man use to do these all day long for 40 bucks+materials.
