Default Chevy EFI stuff

Quick random question....got my chevy pickup out for the winter whilst i build my coupe in the meantimes...my chevy is an 88 k1500 350 efi...i know how to ---- w/carbureted/older chevy motors, but this thing is running rich as hell...

just curious to know if anyone has any good knowledge on these systems with regards to the egr valve and coolant temp sensor... :1

Common issues on these trucks. I just looked at a 89 with a stumble. The rad was replaced and the EGR valve was unplugged...the stumble dissapeared, but at the expense of the ecu turning on the check engine light at cruising speed in gear. Also this is called TBI (throttle body injection) a quick google of TBI running rich came back with lots to check. GL
