I dont understand your betterthan or equal to theory, but RWD wins and AWD is complete fail.

it's stating that fwd and awd are better than rwd, but awd is better than fwd by a factor of two i think

Actually, it's the quantity (AWD + 2) >= RWD, so AWD may in fact be inferior to RWD by your statement (if AWD = -1 and RWD = 1, the statement returns true). += in a boolean line is confusing, it should be broken up into another line...

AWD += 2; (same as AWD = AWD + 2
(FWD >= RWD <= AWD)

even then doesn't make a ton of sense.
