ok so i have been working on this car for a little bit now here and there when i can. right now i am working six days a week and its dark at 5pm. so basically i just finished the turbo install and now it idles semi shitty but misfires when i go to give it gas. basically i dont have the time, patience, or motivation to work on this thing any more and my d.d. is a piece of ---- 93 astro van. i really would like to have a decent dailydriver that i can turn into a project later on when i have more time, money, motivation, and decent location to work on it. now my question is what do i do. i know i could part it out and make a bunch more then selling it but at the same time i dont have time to part it out quickly, also i hjave no idea why its misfiring.

 

take a few days to figger out what you want, dont make any rash decisions. Riding in someone elses boosted car might help

 

yeah i know what ever i get is going to eventually be boosted. and no one around here has a boosted car so i wont be able to get inspiration

Be patient and figure out what's wrong with the car, then fix it. It'll be worth it man. As long as the van holds up just deal with that bitch.

My boosted 4 door that I sold still runs mint to this day. The kid drives it over 60 miles a day to work. He has had it for about 1.5 years now and I had it boosted for 5 months. Its great to jump into your daily driver and still have it put a smile on your face. I miss that.......fix your car and keep it.

Hondas are simple cars, if you are having problems fixing one then you are probably down on experience. If you have no place to drag one to work on it, especially a cool turbo project, it's because you have no car friends. Your solution is simple: take some automotive classes at the local community college for $3. You'll be surrounded by a bunch of wannabe gearheads like you whose penises get stiff at the mention of a turbocharger, and while the collective lot of you are currently useless at least half of you will turn out to be something of note even if you do something else than spin wrenches for a living. Hard to find that high of a success rate, anywhere.

Anyway, you can use the college's shop and your new friend's basements to get simple stuff done. Plus, you'll ------- love it.
