forged pistons /eagle rods (all this for N/A )

84mm sleeved b16a b16 head stock IM/TB

unknown "cams STAGE 2"

dc 4-1 headers

stock exhaust and cat (could the cat be clogged he had 880cc injectors in there on a base map I put in 310 and re mapped it)

wont run at idle have to give it gas.. and wehn it hits vtec it crosses over to the bigger cam lobe and just jerks and dont accelerate



this is not my car its this hindo... guy i was gonna tune it but cant cuz of this problem

 

Sounds like mechanical timing.

maybe its those hindu cams with the hindu ricey car....


vttack wont activate unless the motor likes the owner...

Either the timing or you fuel. Probably just needs a tune to get to idle right.

 

i was tying to tune it to idel rigth i dont. the Shop and tuner that put the car together and "tuned" it gave them the car this way

the throttle stop screw way adjusted to keep the butterfly open slightly always and it keeps a 2 k idle that way so it should be cam timming or somthing

 

Im assuming this thing has check engine lights too

 

no check engine lights sire.. we even put the obd2 ecu in and it did the same thing

 

thats gotta be cam timing...

 

ya my friend danny (he builds weak n/a :P motor) said it could be somthing due to the rocker arms "sticking" from the big cam.. therefore causting more lift at low end.. but i dont think that is possible cuz the vtack crosses over i can hear it baaa----GUURRRR in sound wise
