i have just finished my turbo eg4dr and it is not blowing off at all. im using the dsm bov and the vac is ran off of the intake mani. did i do something wrong and im only running 6 psi on a td04. Could it be the fact that i have no exhaust that the turbo is making boost late(4 grand)??

 

Check all the charge pipe couplers for boost leak then report back.

 

loosen up the spring

 

Ill bet on exhaust leak before the turbo, or the wastegate isnt fully closing.

 

is the BOV crushed??

 

He's probably revving it at in neutral.

 

I would get 10psi in neutral with my t26. Most likly its a boost leak. Soapy water will tell you.

 

lol thats a neg. underload but the bolts on the turbo backed out so when i get a chance im doing away with the adapter plate and tdo4 for a t3/t4. i was about to sell the car until i saw the replys and the turbo ish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Sounds like a good idea, sell it to someone that knows how to turn a wrench.
