aka operation getchya pee pee wet

im thinking something as simple as a rc transmitter/receiver/couple servos rigged up to some wires in the engine bay (white ignition wire on the dizzy, power wire to the injectors, main relay power wire..)

also something as lowtech as a contact point that can be broken when the servo is engaged.. and have the receivers safety set to engage..

im so bored i just mspainted it

could almost be used i guess as a kill switch.. i guess.. if the transmitter isnt near the car then the car wont start? and pretty sure if you gutted a transmitter you could come up with some pretty nifty ----

 

battery pack FTL. Step your 12v down to 6 and run the receiver and servo off the car battery.

you can also power a wireless pinhole camera off of your 12v. Much cheaper than you'd think

get some free software to record on motion detection and get the whole thing recorded for youtubes.

 

the real kicker is gonna be in less than 2 months when i come on hmt bitching about how i walked into a police station with a kid who i had video footage of stealing my car and driving away and i cut off the car and wrestled him to the ground citizen arrested him only for the police to not arrest him

 

Go uy a prepaid cell phone, hard wire it and hide it up in your dash or some ----, and then buy tracking on that cell number for like $10 a month and you now have hmt lojack. Let them steal it, and now call the cops and lead them right to all tne rest of the ---- they have stolen.

or buy the gps tracker for dogs/car or whatever and it will text you once your car moves out of designated spots that you set. and you can track it online all the time but i think its like $25 a month

 

gps tracker would be for part 2 of this project (when i have more than one bait car..)

but as for now i plan on having just one bait car and maybe just one pinhole camera/voice recorder to show the thief and thats it

 

hook that ---- up to a couple coffee cans full of solidox and vaseline, connect to a model rocket engine and trigger, then you have something to videotape.

 

i got creative tonight.. (ok i was bored) i envisioned a train horn nigged to a servo to scare em shitless or deafen them for life. (imagine a train horn going off right under the dash infront of you)
also a servo to pull the pin on a tear gas canister

Even using a 2.4 GHz setup your looking at 1/4 mile range on BEST conditions.
