will a d16a1 head bolt onto my crx, i have a d16z6 bottom end and i stil have obd0. if this will work what timing belt do i use. if anyone has used this head please let me know how it went and what you had to do.

 

i've been reading and ive figured out this motor is basically a DOHC zc. whats the difference between these motors

 

one has one cam, the other has two.

no it wont bolt on, not without some heavy thought.

so i wouldnt suggest you try it.

 

no im talking about the dohc d16a1 out of the old integras. my motor is out of my car right waiting to be rebulit so when i get the head i'll just try to put it on and see how it goes. i was just trying to find out if anyone else has done this before and how it went. my block is a z6 by the way and i was thinking that a dohc head with give me some tuning options and oms extra hp

 

fucknut he is trying to tell you that head wont bolt on to a regular sohc block the head stud pattern is diffrent. Can it be made work? yes is it worth it? NO
