Anyone have any good deer jerky recipes. I've got about 20lbs of deer burger from last yr that I need to turn to jerky before I get more this yr. But I've grown tired of the same ol recipes yr after yr.

 

if your saying you have 20lbs of deer burger i take it your implying that you have 20lbs of ground deer meet?
if so just make some sloppy joe,tacos,meat loaf,or god knows what because you can't make jerkey from any kind of burger (meaning ground meat because of the fat content)

 

Ground meat is what I always use for my deer jerky. I never have any trouble with the fat content in it.

your gonna need one of those jerky guns that look like a caulk gun, just go to the store and buy a jerky kit.

 

I never liked deer.

Wild boar is good, though.

It's the consistency of the meat that ***** with me. I'd probably like it ground.

 

A few weeks ago some lady hit a deer and messed up her car pretty badd ( had to be towed ) I get there and i am like wtf No 2nd car

Then the police on sence says hey "You want this dear" I thought he was BSing me So I look over in the ditch and theres a 6 ponit buck

Loaded that bitch up on the flatbed with the wrecked car (Deer hanging off edge) Brought it back to the shop and my redneck friend cut that thing up

He ended up with like 50 lbs of deer *** then got rid of the rest

That ------- deer stank too, so I won't eat that ----
