so i bought an engine from osaka motors, and took it to jotech, home of kenny tran, to get completely built. they said keep the head, throw the rest out. so i have, a b16a2 short block with all internal in perfect conidition, with the jdm guarentee of under 30k miles. for sale for 325 shipped. you cant find a better deal, not even on ebay. if that isnt good enough, i lucked out and scored and lsd b16 tranny. hahaha very rare, and very expensive 900 shipped right now if you dare. only serious buyers please.

you guys are gay. they gave me two choices, bore out the b16 or take an ls block, make an ls vtec, and bore out the ls to 2.0. i am currently running 2.0ls vtec running 26 lbs of boost, 600 hp to the flywheel with $20000 under the hood. they told me to get rid of the b16 because it can only be bored out so far. so before you talk, get the straight scoop.

 

b16/b18 have same bore. its the rods that give the extra .2 ....

Hey you made it sound like the shop said the b16 bottom end was crap and to throw it out. If you would have said "they suggested a b18 rather then the b16 so im selling it) you might not have had to answer this question... Im not trying to be a ***** here.. just get proper info.

 

completely understand, i was just coming off as a smart *** too, and i know it comes off the bore and stroke, which is why the blocks are almost the same, but the ls and be bored out so much farther, and has stronger capablilties. full eagle stroker kit. i will when it is finished. it is still being tuned, and getting body work. be looking for me in an upcoming magazine. im hoping to be the fastest street legal... haha... del sol. someone clains their 11.2 is the fastest. we'll see. if any one has heard of honda heaven, they have a 93 civic hatch with close to the same setup as me, you can see him in HIN all the time, at street boost he pulls 360 hp, but has a horrible a/f ratio setup. well anyways ill get pcs posted up asap.
