what will happen if i remove the charcoal canister from my crx? i've seen some people remove them but i did no know if that had to do something other than just remove it. i know some cars will not run without them so i am pretty much wondering is it ok to remove it

 

take all of that emissions bullshit off....... who cares about filtering out fumes?

Will run just fine. I did it to mine and no problems.

Just make sure you have your map vac line hooked up, and thats all you really have to wory about.

 

when i was pulling stuff off my crx i just did it one thing at a time. pull one plug or hose, rev that ---- up. was there a cel? yes, plug it back in. no, next please...

 

i just dont want to boost my car then have that charcoal canister explode or some ---- im going to do what you did N/A mike

 

keep everything for a week just incase you need to put something back in. sometimes it takes a while for cels to come on.

 

it will take longer than a week for a cell because i do not drive the car at all. its a project i have been working to turn into a daily driver
