Default 16G spool time

just wanted to see when others spool a 16g to 10lbs
its on a z6, im pretty sure theres a leak pre- turbo, maybe in the charge pipe, but i doubt it. i barely reach a full 10lbs in first gear, in second its almost 5000, but when the wastegate opens it drop to around 6-7 then startes to build again. so i don't know what the ---- right now

You have pre-turbo exhaust leaks and probably more than one boost leak. Look for them.

My stock cam, fucked up mechanical/ignition timing d16a6 spool the small 16g at 10lbs by 3200 and it had boost leaks.

ok

16g spools quick usually. Full boost by 3500-4k on most every 4-banger I've been in. Stock 1.6L Mitsu turbo motors came with really small turbos though, and 16g's are a bit laggy on them too. The 16g is actually a fairly good sized compressor wheel. Approaching small T4. I don't think 5k is all that far off on your Z6. Probably some exhaust leaks though, and maybe some flapper issues. Is it a genuine MHI unit?

nope, cdm. i know i have a leak where the downpipe reaches the cat, but i didnt think that would matter. i'll justt have to check all my ic pipes and mani to head, and mani to turbo connections.

I'd say the CDM part has something to do with the late spool too. They're not nearly as dialed in as a factory MHI turbo. Chinese thrust bushing and journal bearings ftmfl. Sell it to some knewb who's a 16g sackrider with a small wallet and put the proceeds towards a genuine unit.
