So I installed this program again and, it does not update the blocked list. Are there any other programs similar to this or is there a way to manually configure a blocked list.

 

Maybe you have a firewall blocking it from updating?

 

nope I check that first I was reading on their website http://phoenixlabs.org/2007/11/20/st...-incompetence/ that blacklist.org went down and they lost everything

 

Did you happen to notice that both in the URL as well as the page, that it was from 2007?

BTW, mine updated just fine. I'm still betting router configuration or firewall.

 

no I did not pay attention to the link date because that was the last post on the page..

 

I dont use a router and I briefly turned off the firewall and antivirus just to check

 

Wasn't really a long webpage, took me 5 seconds to read the "page" and see the posted date. It's not even a paragraph.

Also, you're trying to update the program instead of the lists. Program doesn't update frequently.

 

I have used it in the past... and I always used the check for updates button....the list manager has no entries...so how do I update the list then?

 

never mind I just figured it out I have to manually add the ---- to the list manager..

 

When I installed it I was given two options.

Update PeerGuardian
Update lists

I've never had to add anything manually, does it by itself.
